I reckon it's kind of medallion or mascot that probably belonged to a person who served in airforces.(the answer is rather indefinite i know)So far as i can tell...well i'll look it up in some sources...

Here another photo of the item from different angle, it seems to have a thread. I have been thinking that it may have been on top of a pole, any thoughts?.

This could be a coastal artillery relic. Here is a link to an original German painting of the winged shell emblem of the coastal artillery units found in a bunker....

It reminds me of the "shells" added to the marksman lanyard on different uniforms. I have at least one lanyard that has two shells attahced that were machine turned out of alumiunum. Maybe this is to large for that (hard to judge the size from your photos). They look similar to this without the wings....
