David, you could go out on a limb and call it an Anti-Tank Rifle if you wanted, although I have a Panzer video in which the translator doing the voice over keeps calling it a "Tank Can" due to two menaings for the German "Büchse"
The standard for most infantry companies was one "Panzerbüchsentrupp with 3 rifles". You just have to multiply that with the companies in a battalion. That of course varied in time and some special organised divisions. But with the standard setup of three companies and a machinegun company that would be 9 rifles.
