Sonder Kommand Blaich.

Hallo,

I am a newcomer of your excellent site.
I badly need more and more information about the Sonder Kommand Blaich of Fort Lammy fame.
Most probably it is a well told stories, but I need more details about the incident, from modelers
point of view.

I would like to model all participating machines, from He-111( it seems starbord side of bomb rack
not detached), Bf-108, SM-81 and Ca-109.

The stories and it modeling articles are well known, but desert rescue squadron's Ju-52 and Ca-109Ghibli I have ever seen.

The participating persons are well portraited in "Die Wüstenfüchse " book of Paul Karl .
I want to know more detailed descriptions about the aircrafts.
For example 16 of 50kg bomb were sored in single port bombay?
The first contacted aircraft after their emergency lamding, the Ghibli, how painted and marked?

If someone know about the matter, could you please inform me?

Hey Jan-Hendrik, i dont know how regular used the other board is, but i saw you participated there too in the discussion,
and i came about some small imformation. If you think the snippet is new information, you might add it there too.

It's just a small comment from a british aviation archive, FROM the CLUBS Events and Activity at the Clubs and Schools - Private Flying 1935.

"HESTON
Herr Theodor Blaich, a German owner of plantations in West
Africa, has had a refresher course and took a British " A " licence
with the Airwork School last week. He has bought a small Junkers
monoplane and is fitting it with floats and shipping it to West
Africa. The arrival of Herr Blaich was, indeed, a signal for the
weather to improve, and it has been exceptionally good for flying
all last week."
