Feldpostnummer 00614

According to his declaration of death dated 31 July 1950, my great uncle was a "Obergefreiter der Einheit Feldpostnummer 00614" (Private First Class unit field post number 00614?). He was declared dead/last seen alive on 15 July 1944. Does anyone know anything about that unit and the possible location they were in at the time of his death? Thanks!
