SBS Australia is currently screening a 6 part series "As it happened" named Apocalypse.
I believe some of the black and white footage has been colourised....Enjoy.GB.

May I give my guessing (I own a French "WWII - DVD" titled "Apokalypse").

1. Everything a German soldier is doing is "murder". All French, British, Polish and Russian soldiers were "murdered" by the Wehrmacht (listen carefully to the text). Opponents of Germans, including franc tireurs, partisans and terrorists principally are heroes.
2. Everything a Wehrmacht member touches later comes out to have been genocide
3. In all battles all Germans always are loosing. How they came into territories of Poland and France still is a mystery.
4. German wars are wars of destruction, annihilation, mass murderings, scorched earth and plunder. Others fought one "War to end all WEars" and one "Great war".
5. Only Goebbels used propaganda for lying to the people

Keep im mind that the victor always writes the history, and determines who was bad or who was good.
Thus . . . . .nothing new under the sun.
