My father flew in the same Lancaster Bomber for his first tour of 30 operations in the summer of 1943. Three days after his tour was completed the plane crashed at Hameln on the night of 8/9th October 1943.
I have constructed a web site as a tribute to my late father and would like to add details of the loss of the Lancaster ED995 if anybody can help me find more information.
