Pictures of underbellies of Me-262 airfield protectors

Post by Soldat7128 »

I read that the underbellies of prop fighters assigned to guard the airfields at which Me-262s landed and took off were painted bright red with white stripes in order to avoid being shot down by the flak batteries stationed there...does anyone have or know of a picture of one they can post (preferably in color)?
