Hello Blurrededge!

A quick search came up with... Porcelain! The Königlichen Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin was (and is) a top-of-the-line porcelain manufacturer in Germany. See some links...

KPM

Thanks Doc,

To the rescue again!. The reason why I ask is that I have been offered some KPM mess hall china and on the underside printed in/on the glaze is KPM. This lead me to think and look for a branch of the reich!. I will have to look at it again as the three army services had their own marks on the underside of each item. ie luft had curved luftwaffe eagle caring device, Heer had straight edge eagle with device, Kriegsmarine had straight edge eagle with device and 'M' below. RAD had the cogged wheel with device inside. I will be adding this make to the other fourteen known manufactuers that I have come across. The Goring page is very interesting, almost everything is over the top, just like the man I guess?.
