Well, the worst part was the preparation. Liquid diet indeed. I was an irritable SOB, indeed!
The anesthesia was great, though. I was talking to the nurse, who is Australian. I remember discussing Perth, then I woke up in recovery. No nausea, grogginess, or anything like that. Within 20 minutes after waking, I walked out.
The results were good. No video, but I got some souvenir stills!

There's one more test now the surgeon wants to do, to narrow down the options. I have to wait about two weeks to get back with him to schedule that.
