In this "debate", we should not forget the great quote by John Stuart Mill:

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. A wonderfully cooperative people durings protests - they even laid down on the railway lines themselves rather than having to be thrown off the platform!

All to true, Phylo. The strange thing about India: Invasions by Ghandi. Look at his protests in South Africa, I see why India has no interest in gobbling up a few nearby nations!!!

But *sigh* Dragunov actually made a good point here. whatever

*huge grin* Curses, you! :D

WAR=HUMAN NATURE!!! we will always have war, if we were compassionate and Commie, we would not be humans! we would be 'weirdos'! my take on it would be that the only wat to get world peace would to nuke the crap out of this planet until everything was dead.

and the most deadly weapon is the human mind, no guns, no blades, we'll find a way around it.

cheers!,
