III Battalion Brandenburgers Company 11

While doing some reading up on this, apparently 100 strong, unit comprised of English speaking Germans found myself puzzled.

Two references refer to this unit as 'Pioneerbattalion 303' but in another book it is called 'Pioneerbattalion 909'

Can anyone clear things up for me ?
