I was wondering if anyone had any sources that can explain more about the history of these units, how were they employed, there makeup, as well as their quality and fighting ability. I know some of these units were employed in anti-partisan warfare, primarily in the Balkans, but others like the 97th, the 8th, the 5th, the 100th, the 101th and the 28th, were very highly decorated units. Unfortunately in the English language there isn't much information about them. Any sources would be a great help, as well any any information that can be provided. Thank you.
