Occupation of the Sudetenland - 1938!

The Aufklärungsregiment 6 was formed in October 1937 with the AA 6 Munster (I. Abteilung) and the AA 8 (II. Abteilung). According the caption of these pictures, it shows vehicles of the 6. / Aufkl Reg 6 (II Abteilung.); But according to some sources the regiment was disbanded in April 1938 and by another in November 1938. The question is did it take part in the occupation of the Sudetenland with the 1. Le Div? ...........

Occupation of the Sudetenland, 1938!

On October 2, 1938 at 05:30 hours, came the order to leave the training area of Grafenwoehr and move towards Falkenstein. On October 3, 1938, as one of the first German troops, the regiment crossed the border into Czechoslovakia by Klingenthal. The first break of the PR 2 was the area of Gossengrün. On the morning of October 5, 1938, the regiment left their quarters, reaching the next destination Chodau by Carlsbad. In Chodau the PR 2 had a warm welcome. Next day the regiment marched and via Carlsbad reached the city of Saaz, where garrisoned the HQ and the I. Abteilung, while the II. Abteilung remained at Kaaden.
