Christoph Awenders site wwiidaybyday lists a lot of KStNs.

Where I found this: KStN 103c
It is 103c, but it was the closes I came.

Hi pak,

I found that one too but is specifically KStN 103 that I'm curious about.
Thanks for taking the time and effort though!

The only KStN numbered 103, which was dated 01.10.1937, has apparently not survived the war. It is not listed anywhere.

Thank you Leo.

Would you happen to know of any description in a book that could give an idea of what it may have looked like?
Or if KStN 104 of 1-10-39 or 107 of 1-12-39 (or 1-10-39, Tessin typo?) can be found anywhere?
Do you have any (hypothetic) idea how 103 would have compared to 104 as they were both for IR (mot.) and substituted by 103c in 1941?

Cheers,
Paul

The KStN 104 was for the Grossdeutschland IR, and would have had additional bits and pieces, different from the KStN 103. And anyway, it's no longer available either. Probably a better source for the organization is KStN 101 (Reich) of 01.10.1937. Basically, KStN 103 was the same organization as the leg infantry regiment, but with motor vehicles replacing the bicycles, horses, and horse-drawn vehicles.

KStN 107 is for a security regiment; a different animal altogether.
