Hello to all :D; a little history in pictures and text...................

The III./ AR 2.

The by then missing III. Group belonging to the AR 2 was organized on 12 October 1937, it was temporarily stationed at Altdamm, also located in the Military District II (Wehrkreis). The new group was raised from its parent regiment and the Artillery Regiment 32. In the fall of 1938, the III./ AR 2 went to its final location in Arnswalde also in the Military District II.

The Motorized Light Artillery Battalion (leichte Artillerie-Abteilung (mot.), had:

Battalion HQ (Abteilungs-Stab), with:
Signal Platoon and Motorized Survey Troop (Nachrichten-Zug und Artillerie-Vermessungs-Trupp (mot.)
3 x Light Battery (leichte Batterie) [4 x 10.5cm leFH 18 each]

Hello Tigre! I always read your treads, but as they usually have no questions included i dont answer them.
This one time i will, your treads are always interesting and nice-to-read!
Keep up with it, even if only a few answer them. I think most are silent but thankful readers like me!

greets to argentinia
