At what rank could german soldiers wear an officers visor cap - above OberFeldWebel i assume?

Honestly not meaning to sound uppity, but an officer's cap would be worn by Leutnant and above.

There was a different (slightly) version for enlisted wear.

What I should have said was 'Visor Cap', so there was a slightly different version for what ranks, and how was it different?

Visor caps were worn by all ranks. Look at wwiidayabyday.com in the uniform section for examples.
