Hello to all :D; something more dealing with the story of one light artillery group (Le. Artillerie Abteilung) heading towards Greece on March/April 1941...................

Here a foto that shows Reiter of the Kavallerie-Regiment Mitte in July 1944. They are equipped with the Sturmgewehr 44.

Here a picture from 1939, Gruppenfoto besides an abandoned polish tank. It shows the relation of soldier and horse in a Infanterie-Regiment: 4,2 soldiers to 1 riding- or drawnhorse.

Hello all.

Most interestig about horses!! I love them, I have a few.
But I know there was a lot of mules/gauls(thereof "gauleiters").
I need some information on mules,use,behandlung and so on..

Pferdesammelplatz (Horse collecting place) within a cavalry unit? - location unknown (at least for me)....

I beleive you are right on the cavalry unit guess, none of the horse's are Haflingers and I dont see any Mules so its not a Gebirgs unit,

Hi all horse lovers!
Lot of interresting stuff to read and watch.
So, if I got it rigth, only Gebirgsjager verbande used mules?
That`s´why there was so many in Norway.....
Should I go to W-SS pages instead?

That`s not a mule. The thing that looks like a mules ear is a propellerblade!
