Militärbefehlshaber in Frankreich, 1941

Post by Leo Niehorster »

Dear All,

Would appreciate assistance with this subject.

I have the OFK, FK, and KK for German France for mid-1941, as well as the occupation organizations for the Militärverwaltungsbezirk B and Bordeaux.

I am looking for the units in the other three occupation districts of the MB Frankreich (A,C, Gross-Paris), as well as those units directly assigned to the MB Frankreich itself.

Specifically, the security forces (Landesschützen, GFP, Feldgendarmerie, etc.).

Also, service units for all of the the MB and the five districts are missing: transport, supply, parks, hospitals, maintenance, post, etc., etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Warmest regards
Leo

add to Kommandantur Gross Paris

Important evolution in 1942 when Landesschütz-bat from others parts of France moved to form in june 1942 3 Wach-Regimenter

Wach-Rgt 1 Lds-Btl. 455 + 458 + 760
Wach-Rgt 2 Lds-Btl. 453 + 454 + 457
Wach-Rgt 3 Lds-Btl. 378 + 654 + 817

in july 42 renamed Sicherungs-Regimenter

Finally incorporated in May 43 into 325.Sicherungs-Division composed of 4 rgt.
S.R. 1 (ex Wach-Rgt 1)
S.R. 5 (ex Wach-Rgt 2)
S.R. 6 (ex Wach-Rgt 3)
+
S.R. 190 Lds-Btl. 425 + 629 + 541 from the Kommandantur Gross Paris
