If Nazi Germany had opted for global business approach...

Post by L. Kafka »

...instead of war scenario. I suspect that this has been brought up before. What if Germany had embarked on internal developement as a role model to Europe, instead of militarist expansion? Despite Germany's hubris in becoming such a model to emulate, could it have survived without the degree of "free labor" that it relied on?

Was there ever a element in Germany that advocated "national socialism in one country" as Stalin seemed to approve of with his "socialism in one country" as opposed to Trotsky's exporting of socialism?
"What are they going to do, send me to Vietnam?"
A oft heard GI refrain in Vietnam in '68.

Interesting idea, but how would Hitler ended unemployment and improved the German economy? He did so by building up the military. If he goes about economic means how does he convince the German people to buy into his programs? Interested on your thoughts.

there was an internal development, but that was limited, due to the economic crisis and the protectionism:Germany had few raw materials and thus,it had to import them and paying with foreign currency, but,to have foreign curency,it had to export, and most states were making imports very difficult .
about 'national-socialism in one country':Hitler was very suspicious of non German national-socialists.
