The end of a generation with the passing away of the last British WW1 veteran. What amazes me that Harry Patch's funeral with the theme "Peace and reconciliation" where two infantrymen from the armies of Belgium, France and Germany accompanied the Union Jack wrapped coffin to the burial ground. May he rest in peace

It would be very touching if 30 or 40 years from now, the funeral procession of the last WW2 veteran be flanked by soldiers from every nationality that took part in the war.
