Films with Rommel in North Africa?
Are there any films that portray any of Rommel's African campaign besides The Desert Fox and the beginning of Patton?

Yes.
"Five Graves to Cairo"
"The Desert Rats" with Richard Burton, and James Mason again in the role of Rommel.
"Sahara". (Well, I KNOW, but you DID ask... )
"Ice Cold in Alex"
"Sea of Sand" (about the LRDG)
And if you expand to Tunisia you've got "The Big Red One", "Paratrooper", and "The Way Ahead"
("Paratrooper is a gem"; also known as "The Red Beret", the Parachute Regiment provided extras, facilities, and locations at the RAF Abingdon Parachute School, Abingdon, Oxfordshire and at Trawsfynydd, North Wales. REAL live flying Wellingtons!!!)

"Sahara"
Just a pity there's bugger all ELSE real about the film and its plot!!!
EDIT - I nearly forgot, there's a faithful remake in colour with James Belushi that's pretty good...if you can get your head around the fact that its SO faithful it's bad for the SAME reasons! LMAO
