Ales, France, and unit under KAMINTCHECK, 1944

I am researching Waffen SS and other German units in Ales-Nimes-Sommieres, south-west France, 1944. There was a unit, I believe Waffen SS but not certain, under KAMINTCHECK, at Ales from 27 May 1944 to 21 August 1944. Does anyone know anything about the unit or about him? I would also appreciate any infomation about units in Ales-Sommieres-Nimes area, and have just listed some FpNs in another message.
