According to Scott Revell website Hstuf Krüger chef 21/V.SS-Art Ausb.u.Ers Rgt. (Hstuf Schwappacher http://www.defendingarnhem.com/schwappacher.htm) was recommended for the Ritterkreuz
Who was this Hstuf Krüger (date of birth, first name and SS-Number )
I can not find a Ritterkreuz for Hstuf Krüger so I guess he did not receive the Ritterkreuz
Did he ever get an other award

That would be Hstuf. Johannes Krüger, born 23.8.1915. He received the DKiG in March 1943 as a member of the SS-Polizei Div. There is no recommendation for award of the Ritterkreuz in his Personalakte. More information about Krüger can be found in Vol. 5 of Mark Yerger's DKiG holders series. Vol 5 covers the SS-Polizei Div.

Hstuf Johannes Krüger SS-346 046 was on my shortlist but I ruled him out because he survived the war dying 26.08.1982.
This means that he was not killed in Nijmegen but was wia and probably taken pow.
