It sure did help Tolga, thank you VERY much for your very generous donation. Every little bit helps. If just a handful of people donated $10 a month on a regular basis all concerns about funding the site would be forever abolished.

Thannk you Tolga, and everyone else that has donated recently!

Lexxx - Thank you for your donation. Your financial support is very much appreciated. Who else has contributed recently?

Can anyone figure out why AHF has a number of paid advertisers while Feldgrau has none? Even though AHF has more registered members than Feldgrau (42,351 to 8,828 on Feldgrau) the visitor counts at Feldgrau always seem to be substantially higher at Feldgrau than AHF when I look. As an example, there are currently 226 visitors at Feldgrau, but only 150 at AHF.

Just made a $50.00 US contribution to help keep this wonderful website going. If all of us who use the site help a little, we can keep this alive!

Hi John

Sites like AHF and ACG dont count BOTS/Spiders in their visitor figures, so maybe that's the answer if Feldgrau does! Though obviously it could just be that Feldgrau does get more visitors but less contributors.

We don't count bots or spiders in our user count.

If there is one main reason we don't have paid ads it's largely because I haven't made it a priority. That's not to say folks can't come to me asking about it with an interest in doing so, but I haven't been terribly active in seeking it out. Mainly because I've always disliked ads on research sites, and ads in general.

That said I am working on building them into the site to help generate funds to support our efforts.

Thank you Rudi! That was very nice of you to give that support to Feldgrau. I hope that other people will follow your example.

I am interested in advertising options. If the person responsible for this would contact me I am sure that we could come to some arrangement. Thanks.

Hi

how is the cost going now.

Is it possible to pay a monthly recurring fee via paypal, like I do for an other forum, to help with the costs?

Thanks

You will have to deal directly with Jason. Only he can handle that.
