SS-Ustuf. Richard KULKE born 14.12.1924 Stockholm/Sweden

Post by Regiment Norge »

Hi!

Today I received a letter from WASt about this SS-Ustuf. He was KIA 08.07.1944 at Sees/Normandy in the unit I./SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt 12 "Hitlerjugend". He is buried Soldatenfriedhof Mont-de-Huisnes, Gruft 49, Kammer 62.

Have anybody aditional information on him?

Regards

Hello-did you find out the information you were looking for? Are you doing research for yourself or old Kameraden of R. Kulke?

Sorry for my delay, and I hope this helps in your research. Richard was born in Stockholm, Sweden while his father, also named Richard, was in the foreign service assigned to the German Embassy in Stockholm from 1918-1926. Richard's military career took him from the Russian front - L SS AH/Stabskp. II./Pz.Rgt. 1 in February 1943, to the I. Pz. Rgt./12 SS-Pz.Div. “HJ”. Abteilung Stab 1. He was wounded in action at Maltot, France on July 3 and died at the field hospital in Sees, France on July 8, 1944.
