Hi!

In the 11. SS-Pz.gren.Div "NORDLAND" I came across a reference to this unit "Einheit Ahlefeld" who must be named after their commander Ostuf. Graf Hans Ditlef von Ahlefeld, a dane. These two Wehrmacht soldiers was awarded EK II in April 1944 in action with this unit.

I seek more information on this unit, were it came in combat and how long it existed?
