What were their numbers and did they take part in many actions? Are there any Kriegmarine naval infantry insignias posted on this site?

Quickly (I'm about to head out for dinner) if you do a search on the forum this has been discussed a lot actually. There are also KM inf unit histories posted on the main site. I can post more on the topic later as well if needed.
