ORP Piorun against KMS Bismarck

I know this story by heart, but question is to You. Does any of You know anything about firefight between Polish destroyer ORP Piorun and German Battlecruiser KMS Bismarck at night of 26 V 1941?

Don't worry. By the time of WWII, battleships and batllecruisers had effectively merged. No one was building any more slow capital ships, and all the fast capital ships had heavy armor.
The Germans did look into a true BC design with the OPQ class, the only ships the German navy ever rated officially as battlecruisers.

You're right, Tiornu. But mistaking KMS Bismarck as a battlecruiser (CB) was a very big mistake.
