Relation Flak grouppe 246 and Festung-Park kompanie 63/X

Post by Bogey »

I'm looking for any information about my grandfather Heinrich Reinders,

Very important to me is this question:

- Is there is a possible connection between Flak grouppe 246, wich was located on the Frisian island of Ameland in The Netherlands. And the Festung-Park kompanie 63/X.

-or can anyone tell me what a Festung-Park kompanie is.?

-is Festung-Park kompanie 63/X a kriegsmarine unit .?

can anyone help me?

ot Festungs-PARK- Kompanie but Festungs-Pak- Kompanie, which means anti-tank guns or PanzerAbwehrKanone. In contrast to the field guns are these mounted in bunkers or fortresses. Many of them are still found on the dutch beaches.
The `L` could stand for "Luftwaffe", but I´m not shure. I´ll try to find out more.
