Just a footnote for all......
Wilhelm Moritz cannot be contacted as this is the wish of his familie. He is getting up in years.
Werner Husemann will no longer talk of his expereinces and is in hiding.
Addi Glunz has a very severe case of Altzheimers.
Heinz Rökker is well and so is Hermann Greiner and Martin Drewes.

I thought that 10 was the required number to be considered an expert? Are there different requirements within the luftwaffe? Could someone please explain this for me?

Another Individual Gone.
I just found out that Josef Haiböck passed away on 3 July 2002. He had 77 aerial victories.

Stefan Litjens
Dear Ron,
In your list you have mentioned Stefan Litjens. You are also mentioning that he was Dutch. That would be very interesting for me because I am studying the service of Dutchmen in the Luftwaffe and I did not know that he was Dutch. I realize that his name sounds Dutch but I have more Luftwaffe pilots/personnel with Dutch looking names but have the German nationality. I would be very glad if you could send me some proof for your statement.
Looking forward for your answer,
Jaap
