Has anyone come across this man, Wilhelm Lederer in connection with Danzig?
According to the Führerliste information I have, SS-Mann Lederer was in Standarte Deutschland after August '33. By July '41, Hstuf. Lederer was leading 6./J.R.7 against Salla.
However, I just found his name on a list of wounded men, and there is an indication that he got his first wound on 1.9.39 at Westerplatte!
Could he have been seconded to Heimwehr Danzig in order to take part in that attack? Is anyone familiar with this man?

Re: Wilhelm Lederer
Thanks, Phil.
I wonder how bad a clerical error it would be to indicate wounding in a battle he was nowhere near? This is an odd one indeed!
