On page 546 of the new Niemann (third edition) is a nice picture of Oberleutnant Wolfmüller. He's wearing a load of awards: EK I, EK II, armcuffs 'Afrika' and 'Kreta', Knight's Cross (awarded feb 4 1945), DKiG, Gemeinsames Flugzeugführer- und Beobachterabzeichen, and more. A note is written under it: he was 'only' awarded a EK I and the picture was taken around 1950.
Does anyone know who this man was? Has someone already searched for his history? Why was he portraided like this? He even made a 'vorlaufige Besitzzeugnis' for his Knight's Cross. Who was this guy?
