I read somewhere that Michael Wittman's Tiger tank 007 had been found in the early 1980s and I wondered where is it now and can it be seen? Also are there any pictures to view?
Can anyone help?

I might be wrong but it wasn't so much the tank as such, but just a few scraps from the wreck. During the research for Panzers In Normandy Then & Now the authors located fragments of the tank (bits of steel & glass) which led them to discover Wittmann & his crew's roadside graves (1982) (Pg's 162-183). They also discovered a track link, fuel pumps & the turret floor from Wittmann's Tiger that had been recovered & retained by a French farmer (Pg 205)
