SS-Sturmmann Hans Joachin Katschinski

I'm looking for any kind of info about him. All I know is that he was an assault gunner in 12-SS Panzer Division "Hitlerjugend", thanks to panzerworld.net.

Hello, can't be of much help but Hans-Joachim was alive in 2004 - I received a letter from him. I have photo of him in grey panzer jacket with HJ cuff title, single strip on collar flash and a 'V' on his arm. cheers!

Since your his son do you think that perhaps he would mind if we ask about his personal history and experience
during WWII ?

I am interested in the personal stories of those that served their country during that time.
