I know of two Dutch German Cross in Gold holders:karlo wrote:hi....i am seeking names of individuals who won the german cross in gold, but who also received one tank destruction badge while holding the rank of oberscharfuhrer.....can anyone hepl?...many thanks...karlo
SS-Obersturmführer Gerrit Jan Pulles (18 Dec 1944) MIA
SS-Hauptscharführer Frans Veneman (24 Apr 1944)
I do have some information on Pulles who was a mayor before the war.
I would like to know more about Frans Veneman because all i know now is rank, name and the date when he recieved his German Cross in Gold.
Anybody?

Re: german cross winners
Hello, I am new here and I am looking for any information on Gerrit-Jan Pulles (my father-in-laws second cousin) where he was and what he did in ww2 and his father who was Mayor of Eindhoven. I realise that this post is 3 years old, could you help? Also I have found many sites unfortunately my only language is English and that limits me on information. Another question what does DKiG stand for, I see it very often?Ichi wrote: I know of two Dutch German Cross in Gold holders:

DKiG means Deutsche Kreuz in Gold. Klaus Patwall did a great two volume book on this medal., including history, makers and receiptants. Not for sale at a bargain: €110,- for the both books.
And about Pulles, you should check out http://www.waffen-ss.nl, or http://www.cmc40-45.nl, a lot of knowledge there, espcially about the Dutch RKT (Ritterkreuzträger ).

There are 4x books for sale in our FOR SALE Forum by another member on just German Cross in Gold holders.
Also, Mark Yeager (another member on the forum here) has done extensive research on German Cross in Gold recipients. He might be able to assist or guide you to the answers you seek.
