Armoured car Kfz.13 Adler - Poland 1939

Re: Armoured car Kfz.13 Adler - Poland 1939
Hi Johan !
All Aufklärungs-Abteilungen (tmot.) of the 1st and 2nd wave divisions should have had
a Panzerspähtrupp in the 3. (schwere) Schwadron.
http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Zus ... eilung.htm
This would consist mainly of 3 armored cars, 2 with MG 34,and one signal (Funk) vehicle.
(which might have had an MG too, in case of a Sdkfz 223 ?!).
(Were there any additional vehicles as Pkw, Krad, ... in such a Pz.Späh-Trupp ?!)
The armored cars planned, were two Sdkfz. 221 and one Sdkfz 223. However, due to the
shortage of such vehicles, several units were equipped with Kfz. 13 and 14 instead.
For infos and pictures of such vehicles, have a look here :
http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Waf ... euge-R.htm
And for the Kfz. 13 and Kfz. 14 types you were asking for :
http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Hauptseit ... z__13.html
http://www.achtungpanzer.com/maschineng ... -kfz13.htm
=> I would be very curious, whether anybody had ever seen a KStN, HDv. (or any idea, suspicion)
on the number of men, weapons and vehicles in such a 1939 Pz.Spähtrupp !
Best regards,
hero.
