Records of the LXXXI Corps for September 1944 show Heeres.Flak.Abt.286 in several ArKo gliederung. The 286 was associated with 8th Pz div, according to Lexicon. Normally, I would assume that this is a repeated typo for H.Flak.Abt.287, which was part of 9th Pz. division at the time, but another 9th Pz. gliederung for Sept 21, 1944 claims that H.Flak.287 was attached to LXIV Corps, much further south.

So, is there any possibility that H.Flak.286 was at Aachen, of is this a typo for "287" ?

thanks,
