Axis History Forum links misdirecting

Post by Leo Niehorster »

For the last several days, when I click on links in AHF, I am frequently transferred to "http://www.phpbb.com/", obviously not the desired target.
Anybody else having this problem?

Not me but it may depend on what security options you have and/or what browser you are using.

It wouldn't take a change in your settings. If for instance someone got some malware on the site that your security settings don't recognize it could be redirecting you. Or your link might have become corrupted. One test is to type in the correct URL and see what happens. What is the URL of the site you are being redirected to? Another possiblity is malware on your computer.

Ran a complete scan with Avira and Malware. Nothing found.

However, the problem seems to have gone away. For now, anyway.

Thanks for the replies.
