sharpshooter aka marksman aka "amateur sniper" exists in squad-platoon level. They are shoot with more accuracy and range then ordinary riflemen. In USA now they are gunned M16, in USSR SVD. Snipers are "hidden shooters" with extra training camouflage, observation, etc, and more ...

Some russian memoirs tells 34td temporary re-captured Dubno 28-29.06 I try to find any german documents about this date, 111th inf.div at Dubno and 16pz.div. near.
