Thanks for the answer, my instinct told me the same but then German operations in Africa and how far they advanced I haven't bothered to dig very deep into.

I have just read in a scientific magazine that Rommel put a pile of sandbags under the head of the great sphinx to support it if was to be hit by a bomb. Well I was unclear in my first post. I didn't mean moderators as in people who goes through what people write more as in an organizer that move topic to there right place and such. I shouldn't write posts when Im tired... :(

I think there should be more moderators here. I have seen several posts in the wrong forum and I my picture of a well organized and serious forum is that topics are in the right forum.

Yes I have read some were about the Luftwaffe using Iraqi airfields during the Iraqi revolt againt the british. Luftwaffe made some bombing but nothing much else. On the Persian question there were several brandenbrug units working undercover there as engineers on diffrent projects in the middeleast...

Danish resistance

Were to find info about members of the resistance in Denmark? They have told me that my grand-father was a member (he was sailing a fishingboat around Copenhagen), but I would like to see some proof, since his history is a bit inconsistance.

As far as I remember they were later sunk by the german to avoid capture. I think the Danes later demanded compensation from Germany for the boats. I'm not very sure of this though.
