Thank you forum comrades - interestingly I had managed to track down further information about Hermann Nuebert and knew that he is now burried at Kriegsgräberstätte in Noyers-Pont-Maugis (France). The Germans keep such wonderful records - I do not speak German but by using "Babelfish.com",...

Thank you, my forum comrades - with this information I will do some more researching and attempt to put together a bit of a fanciful story - a story that will help us remember and respect all men of war.
