For Sale- Tellermine 35 Brass Pressure Fuze
This is a beautiful inert example of the brass TMi35 pressure fuze. Other than a few dings, it's in excellent condition, the threading is clean, the markings clear, and even the safe/armed screw still turns smoothly. The detonator is of course not present as can be clearly seen in the photograph, so...

For Sale- 10,5cm Pzgr. Base Screw with Fuze- RARE
This is a nice example of the German 10,5cm armor-piercing projectile base screws/tracer/fuze- the BdZ f 10,5cm Pzgr. This particular example was made in 1940 (marked 40brx) and is in fairly good condition. Apart from some pitting in a couple of areas of the exposed face, it’s remarkably clean, the ...

For Sale- Bf109G Tailwheel Tire w/ Innertube
In good overall condition, the tread wear on this whitewall tire definitely suggests it has been used. The innertube is solid and could possibly still hold air. The valve stem is present and intact. The markings on both sides of this tire are excellent- made by CONTINENTAL , it is specifically marke...

For Sale- Stielhandgranate 24 Stick Grenade- Inert
Hi guys, This is a really nice display example of the famous German Stick Grenade, the Stielhandgranate 24. The canister is completely intact, with no holes, some very light pitting and 95%+ of its original green paint finish and is completely empty- it contains no dangerous materials. The threaded ...

Possible Luftwaffe MOB Codes
Hi guys, I have a few putative Luftwaffe MOB codes that I've been trying to identify the units of but have as of yet had no luck, so I'm hoping that perhaps someone here can help- the codes are: 253258 131188 73099 53617 71061 217414 If anyone knows one or all of these, I'd be most happy to know wha...

For Sale- Kriegsmarine Breast Eagles- Officer and PO/Rating
Hi guys, Another couple of pieces from my collection I'm letting go are two Kriegsmarine breast eagles, one bullion officer and one yellow thread petty officer/rating. Both are hand-stitched, of high quality, and are in excellent condition. The gold bullion of the officer's eagle is a bit dark with ...

For Sale- Luftwaffe Flight Crew Cloth Qualification Badges
Hi guys, I'm also letting a couple of my Luftwaffe flight crew qualification badges go as well- one Fliegerschützenabzeichen für Bordfunker (Radio Operator/ Air Gunner Badge) and one Fliegerschützenabzeichen (Air Gunner Badge). Both are unissued, machine stitched versions for enlisted and NCO person...

For Sale- Kriegsmarine Narvikschild
Hi guys, I'm thinning out my collection some and have decided to let my Kriegsmarine Narvikschild go. Although it’s Navy blue felt backing is gone, and the metal shield has darkened over time, areas of the original Kriegsmarine gilt finish are visible. The four prongs on the back that held the shiel...

The letter in question is definitely a lower-case 'l' not a '1'- it stands for 'leichte' (light), so this unit was leichte-Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 254- Light Artillery Replacement Detachment 254. Miha's right that the unit was disbanded on 15.9.1942, so the soldier who carried this disc must hav...

Re: Dog tag help
You're right that the disc likely belonged to a medic- the unit is Sanitäts-Ersatz-Abteilung 8, which translates as 'Medic Replacement Detachment 8'. As for why it's marked 'Breslau', well that's where the unit was stationed. Actually, it's a rather odd marking- location is usually only indicated wh...

Hi Ciano, Unfortunately, from the text you've written, neither of these discs is authentic. Leichte-Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 2 and Landesschützen-Ersatz-Bataillon 2 were regular Heer and L.S. units- not SS. Someone just added the 'SS' to make the discs seem more interesting and valuable. Other th...

Re: german dog tag id
Hans is correct: 'Stab. II./' is Stabskompanie, II. Bataillon (staff company, 2nd battalion). The '1' after the slash on the second disc is more likely a lower-case 'l' meaning 'leichte'- so the 'translation' would be 4. Batterie leichte Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 29 (4th battery, light Flak Replacement ...

One definition of 'Schütze' is simply 'rifleman', and this was indeed what the 1.-3., 5.-7., 9.-11. Kompanien of an Infanterie-Regiment were designated (the others being MG Kompanien). It's indeed a bit confusing given that the infantry for Panzer units were formally called 'Schützen' until 1942 (wh...
